Purchase and Download: Simple Seamless Bath Mitt on Ravelry
This pattern produces a bath mitt that is approximately 3.5” wide x 8.5” long in size. If a larger mitt is preferred, simply increase the number of cast on stitches, making sure to have an even number. The mitt is worked from the finger tips to the cuff by using double knitting on 2 dpns or straight needles. The live stitches are then separated to open up the pocket and transferred to 3 dpns. From that point, the ribbing on the cuff of the mitt is knit in the round until binding off.
About the technique: The double knitting technique allows you to knit in the round using two needles (either 2 DPNs or 2 straight). This simple pattern provides a quick and easy complete project for learning a technique that can be embellished with stripes, duplicate stitching, or fair isle designs.
